“ Kisi cheez ko agar sache dil se chaho to puri kaynat tumhe usse milane me lag jati hai”

(If you like something from the bottom of your heart with truth in your intentions,The whole cosmos starts helping you in realizing that Dream).

This was a dialogue I had picked up, somewhere in a metro from a colleague or a fellow travaller ,While Returning one Day from college to my Mayur Vihar residence. The actual realization of what it meant came a few days back ,when I Read Dr.Kalam’s book “Ignited Minds”,in which he divulges how the Vision of seeing India As a Major space power by Dr.Vikram Sarabhai was realized by his fellow scientists and successors long after, he left for heavenly abode, by Dr.Satish Dhawan and others at ISRO(The Indian nodal Space Agency- INDIAN SPACE RESEARCH ORGANISATION).

Dr.Vikram Sarabhai, was one among the long list of National Heroes who came from India’s Scientific community, a visionary who gave up his entire lifetime raising the self esteem of a Nation which had just freed itself  from the bonds of Slavery .Dreaming of Taking it to Space with the best In the World,Dr Vikram Sarabhai made ISRO out of a Small laboratory he had.

Thus, when a man is so dedicated to his Vision,Everyone around helps  in realizing it even when he has made his final journey, as It happened with Dr.Sarabhai. A Vision much more holy is now shared by another national Hero The Missile Man of India-Dr.Kalam,a vision to Make India a Knowledge super power by 2020.Now This led me to a quest on why A man responsible for making Missiles and Defence Related Weapon systems of mass destruction under IGMDP(Integrated Guided Missile Development Programme) talk of making India a knowledge superpower, rather than a military one.

The Answer is Simple- India was considered as a JAGADGURU(Teacher of the World). No one knows this much better than me,Since I was born in the backdrop of where lies a holy communion of the World's  oldest University of Vikramshila (Magadh period) and the holy river Ganges. With Knowledge everything Else would follow.

So Is it not our moral, national or patriotic duty to Become that Resouce pool of 'dedicated to life' professionals who would help Realise Dr.Kalam’s Vision of India just like Dr.Satish Dhawan and his team of scientists made it their life motto to realize Dr.Sarabhai;s Space dream?

And Then It made me think,Why not have a Knowledge cell, why not motivate one another to the ultimate need of our Existance-of yours and mine

KNOWLEDGE

When we can Have an E-cell at IILM GSM,we can have a number of clubs dedicated to culture, fine arts,It,blogging,Finance,Marketing,HR,News,Editorial, why not amalgamate all of them together and make a KNOWLEGDE CELL.This could be a unique experiment where we would work in Unison, learn from one another and grow.

I believe There is no bigger an asset ever made than one of COLLECTIVE KNOWLEDGE.IILM GSM could become a unique example of  being the first to try this experiment of oneness. But then This is just a dream,a culmination of my thoughts of many a months now penned into words with an ACER LAPTOP Shared to you on blogging forums and facebook pages.

The next time you want to build some self confidence or find a sense of purpose,It comes at a very cheap price,Please do read
IGNITED MINDS

The book from my very limited understanding  constraint talks about some key things which I would like to Share with you,my readers, who I am morally answerable to for the time they spare to read my thoughts and beliefs  is as follows:

1.The Need to Dream:
“Dream,Dream,Dream for Dreams turn into desires and Desires turn into Actions”
-Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam
Like his other book” Wings of fire” Dr kalam Again reasons on the importance of dreaming big to achieve big.

2.The INDIAN EFFECT: This is a name I have self Coined to outline something Dr.Kalam Says as our Genetic Effect among us Indians to belittle our achievements.
He shares an experience he had when a child came and asked him If Pakistani Weapons were better than ours ,something the child said he had learnt from the Media.

3.The need for Role models:

Dr Kalam Feels that India as a nation needs to know ITS ROLE MODELS.Our teachers and Parents can be our role models when we are little kids, but then to make us believe in the vision of  someone else,A noble vision of seeing our nation grow envisioned by a Former President,we need to have role models.

Sadly, our print media and Tv Media has not covered the correct role models.Bollywood Movie Stars or Sports Icons can thrill you in their own ways, and they have a great effect on the youth but even without a shred of doubt,I can tell you, such role models can never make you Selfless,They can never push you to the core,They can never make you do the Impossible.

Forgive me for adding my realizations to What Dr Kalam said in his book but I think I must put you to some simple calculations I did to arrive at some statements I am going to make.

India has sadly not realized its role models:Our rich pool of scientists, academicians, economists, thinkers and Visionaries, industrialists and Civil Society legends.

Here is a very sad example of the State of affairs of INDIAN YOUTH AND INDIAN CITIZENS AS SHOWN BY MR.GOOGLE
